Purpose

To provide teachers with opportunities to learn and share best practices that strengthen students’ literary skills and college-readiness through the At Home in College program. AHC will support teachers in developing a deeper understanding of the college-level curriculum through exploring Psychology and Sociology content while making specific reading and writing strategies explicit. AHC supports teachers in identifying challenges faced in the classroom when using the AHC curriculum and effective strategies to address those challenges, connecting professionals to resources to better support college readiness in students, and developing a network of professionals to share teaching expertise.
